Junru Wang

I started acrobatic training in Wuhan, China at a young age. When I was 9 years old, I began working as a solo hand-balancer at Cirque du Soleil's touring show “Dralion.” In 2012, I won Season 4 of China's Got Talent and created a Guinness World Record for hand-balancing, which I still hold. Four years later, I moved to the United States, pursuing a BFA degree in Film and TV production at the University of Southern California. After graduation, I was recruited by a Montreal-based circus company to perform in a show called “Dear San Francisco.” This experience reignited my passion for circus. Since then, I have made further career moves in circus and film while performing around the world. I have recently featured in Midnight Circus in the Parks in Chicago, and Palazzo in Germany and Austria.
